| A weird little game show on the History Channel, a North American cable channel. Like the History Channel itself, the questions are heavily biased toward USA history, European history, World War II, and military history. They range from impossible to truly silly, with more along the lines of the truly silly (think $1000 questions on Who Wants to Be A Millionaire). At the end, the finalist does a sort of fastest finger thing, usually involving correctly matching decades or years to events. As though to make up for the first part, this sequence is almost impossible, so no one ever wins very much money. The consolation prizes are usually history-related, such as a gift certificate to the Smithsonian catalog. Not recommended unless you're a History Channel junkie anyway. |
