One must be careful not to confuse the Great Old Ones (Cthulhu and co.) with the Outer Gods (Azathoth et al.), the Deep Ones (Children of Father Dagon), or the Crawling Chaos Nyarlathotep, the soul and messenge of the mad and insensate Outer Gods. |
