Called 'Gidora' (or 'Kingugidora') in Japan, Ghidora (or King Ghidora) is one of the big four Toho Studios kaiju. The several-hundred foot tall giant monster from outer space, winged and with three lightning-spewing serpent heads, is a cross between the archetypes of the Greek hydra and the Asian dragon. Known on Planet X as Monster Zero, his natural enemies are Godzilla, King of the Monsters (Monster One) and Rodan (Monster Two).
