| A card from the board game Monopoly that can be used when you land on the Go to Jail. Go Directly To Jail. Do Not pass GO, do not collect $200 space on the board. Playing the card enables you to roll the dice and move off the jail square on the board.
The term is also used for a special card that may be a membership card to an organization with a good relationship with your local or state police, that when presented to a patrolman, will encourage the officer to let you out of a traffic violation with a warning hopefully provided it's not too serious. |
