While cruising random nodes, I got kinky boyfriend. This immediately reminded me of this comic that used to run in The Detroit News. Funky Winkerbean was the name of the strip as well as the name of the main character. He was a high school band nerd stuck in the 70s, despite the fact that this comic ran through the mid eighties. Tom Batiuk authored the strip. Think Drabble, but way cooler.
