In
baseball, the "frisbee slider" is another name for a slow
slurve. It is a slow, arcing pitch with tremendous
lateral movement (from right to left when thrown by a righthanded
pitcher). The frisbee slider is achieved by throwing a
curveball using a low
sidearm delivery. One of the best
frisbee sliders in the game today is tossed by Korean phenom
Byung-Hyun Kim.
