Fly Loft

In theatre terminology the fly loft is the area above the stage where flown scenery is stored. It houses all of the mechanisms for rigging system and the grid. Ideally the fly loft should be twice the height of the proscenium arch so that flown scenery can be stored fully out of sightlines.
