| ``Fanny Hill'' (full title: ``Fanny Hill, or Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure'') by John Cleland was first published in 1749. It is famous for being one of the earliest pornographic novels to still be in print. Of course, by the standards of the last decade in the twentieth century it is not even considered pornographic.
