Issue : Does it violate the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment for a school board to reimburse parents of parochial students for money spent on transportation?

Decision: Court of Errors and Appeals ruled in favor of the school board citing the Child Benefit Act.

Significance: Parochial students are bused at taxpayers' expense.
