E`bur*na"tion (?), n. [L. eburnus of ivory, fr. ebur ivory: cf. F. 'eburnation. See Ivory.] Med. A condition of bone cartilage occurring in certain diseases of these tissues, in which they acquire an unnatural density, and come to resemble ivory.
