| Drag City is the name of a record label based out of Chicago, Illinois, USA. It's safe to say that Drag City really made a name for itself when it was releasing all of Pavement's old 7" and 10" records (Summer Babe, Demolition Plot J-7, and Perfect Sound Forever).
Since then, Drag City has been making a name for itself by signing very avant-garde and unique bands. Drag City's got it all - from the dirty, wild blues rock of Royal Trux, to the minimalist stylings of Red Krayola, to the rambling rock poetry of Dave Berman and the Silver Jews, to the formless no wave screechings of US Maple, all the way to the riotously un-funny stand up comedy of Neil Hamburger.
