Although it may sound a little vulgar. The above title is a in fact a translation of a Dutch expression.
The expression is as follows:
"Ben je op je pik getrapt?"-Did someone step on your dick?
The expression is used when someone takes something very personal, or acts very irritated. It may sound like bad language, but in the Netherlands it is common language. Oddly as it may sound, it can be used when adressing both male and female persons.
For those of you who wish to use the expression it is (roughly) pronounced as: Ban ya op ya pick getrahpt?. Mind you that, as you already "stepped on the person's dick", saying so does not add to mutual understanding in general. In other words; no it's not vulgar, but it's not very polite either. |
