I sneak
Megan R., the one kid who
does not suck, into the darkened school kitchen. We whisper and steal cookies. This is:

b. theft on the clock
c. me ignoring the other kids I am supposed to be preventing from eating the safety scissors
d. me allowing one kid special privileges, i.e. the good cookies vs. the crummy cookies I am about to give everyone else.
We emerge. I encourage Megan R. to flaunt her Chipsahoy! status to all the lowly graham cracker-eaters. She does. The others are pissed. I tell them they will receive good cookies when they are good people.
