A rare line of (mainly) fruit sodas. Cool Mountain is a small, family-owned company devoted to creating small batches of superior sodas. They have a broad line of flavors, from the standard(Root Beer and Black Cherry), to the exotic(peach and watermelon). As if this weren't enough, Cool Mountain donates 1% of their net proceeds to the Native American College Fund.
I've long been a supporter of fruit-flavored sodas, and Cool Mountain certainly delivers. I first encountered them in a small grocery on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and bought half a dozen(one of each flavor they had). The flavors aren't fake or overpowering, and the light carbonation doesn't detract from the flavor. All-in-all, a highly recommended drink. |
