A technical Death Metal band from Finland, with some Black Metal influences. Pretty much all of their songs are written by the lead guitarist/singer Alexi 'Wildchild' Laiho, who really knows what he is doing, as I have yet to discover a single song from any of their albums that I wouldn't want to listen again. Formerly, Mr. Laiho played in a band called Inearthed. Currently he is also playing in Sinergy and Impaled Nazarene.
They take their name from the legendary slaying of a couple of teens on the shores of lake Bodom (in Espoo, Finland) sometime in the 60's.
