Well, not really.
The Center for Disease Control released a study that says cheap beer is a leading cause for the spread of STDs - specifically chlamydia and gonorrhea. They say cheap beer causes more drinking, less inhibition, more casual sex, ergo, more diseases spread. Well duh. They also recommend a 20 cent increase (tax) for cheap beer (whatever that means) to help slow the spread of the STDs.
Goddamn it! Why is the problem that the beer is cheap and not that the people are fucking like otters? I don't have much money and the only way I can afford to get pissed is with cheap beer! Pabst, Milwaukee's Best, Natural Lite, American Light, etc., etc., etc. As of yet, I have managed to not sleep with skanks while hammered. |
