| A symbol of hate used by the Klu Klux Klan. I assume that the cross represents Christianity as the KKK was supposed to represent all "God-fearing white Christians". I guess the burning of the cross is their indication of their intent to punish all sinners (to the KKK, non-white Christians).
The burning cross is as much a symbol of racism and hate in America as the white hoods worn by Klu Klux Klan members. |
