A convenient, ficticious name for an estate, used by property law professors in examples. Sort of like foo and bar for programmers.

For example, to describe the act of selling a random piece of property (for purposes of illustrating some arcane bit of law that might affect the transfer), one might say:

A conveys Blackacre to B for life, then to C and the heirs of his body.
