| In pre-Crisis DC Comics continuity, Htrae, the world created by Bizarro as a home for himself and others like him. On Bizarro World, things are the opposite of the way they are on Earth: the planet is cube-shaped, everyone has powers like Superman (except Bizarro-Lois), banks give money away, newspapers print only lies (hmmm...), and so on. First appeared in Action Comics #263.
The term has come to refer to any situation where things are the opposite of the way common sense dictates they should be. |
