Magazine writer. Back in February 2001, she called attention to
Enron
's mysterious ways; lots and lots of
revenues
but no clues on how they actually made all that money, everything being so secretive for 'competitive reasons'.
She was
dissed
by the
CEO
, the
chairman
called her editor to complain about her nosiness and the
CFO
flew in personnaly to assure everyone that
everything was fine
.
When her story appeared in the March 3rd issue of Fortune it was met by a
resounding, ground-shaking
shrug
. So the story sank and
Enron
continued its
bull market
trajectory until
December 2001
.
