The Decepticon Battlechargers were added to the Transformers toy line in 1985, the same time as the Autobot Jumpstarters. There were only two: Runabout and Runamuck.

The Battlechargers were cars with pull-back-and-go motors which worked either in vehicle or robot mode. Unlike the Jumpstarters, the motors didn't trigger their transformations; they had to be transformed by hand. They were in fact very similar to the smaller Throttlebots introduced two years later.
