One of the youngest of the sf pulps. Launched in 1978 its most important phase started in the mid-1980s when Gardner Dozois took over the editor's chair. Isaac Asimov himself had little to do with the magazine during his life and the style of short fiction it currently showcases is far from his oeuvre.
