The Asian Underground is a movement that began when Indian DJ's displaced to the UK started listening to jungle and mixing it up with bhangra. The result is some amazing tracks from the likes of Talvin Singh and the State of Bengal. This scene is starting to take hold more strongly in the US, particularly in New York, where clubs such as Paisley (a furniture store by day) are becoming popular.
