The Arabian Sea is the portion of the Indian Ocean between India to the east and the Arabian peninsula to the west. The Gulf of Oman (and through it the Persian Gulf), and the Gulf of Aden (and through it the Red Sea, Gulf of Aqaba and Gulf of Suez) have natural outlets into the Arabian Sea.
