Former CEO of Intel from 1986 to 1997 and currently a chairman. He has been with the company since its beginnings in 1968. Thanks to the efforts of this man and his corporation, computers have traveled from their days as toys for the technically savvy into the indispensable devices that millions of people use today.

Grove didn't invent the microchip--but he made them affordable. And profitable.

The Time Magazine Person of the Year for 1997.
