And youth is cruel and has no remorse

Her eyes, full of pain, follow him
The bronzed young figure, godlike
So tall, so strong
And once, so very attentive

He found her, abandoned and lost
Ripe and ready for picking
Plucked her like a peach
And fed on her sweetness

Not that she was unwilling, oh no.
She opened her purse as eagerly
And freely as her legs
Ready to pay love's price

And, while she was generous, he was kind
Made her feel lovely, desired
Earned her gratitude
Always giving value

But when his demands exceeded her means
His attention wandered, and he went with it
And now as he drinks from a deeper well
Her eyes, full of pain, follow him
