| Some noders aren't contributing for XP, they're contributing because they see a need -- to paraphrase Sir Edmund Hillary, they're noding "because it wasn't there". Such dedicated people may well cringe when they accidentally slip into XP whoredom enough that someone ching!s their writeup and they gain experience.
Then there are the XP whores with a nice fat XP/writeup ratio who no longer give a rat's patootie about XP, since the limiting reagent is the number of writeups.
And of course there are the trolls, who hate to gain experience because it means they didn't piss enough people off... |
