I heard this expresion today, and thought I'd share it with Everybody. Taking a long walk for a small beer means to do something very dificult or hard for a small reward.

Usually, a low priority job that will probably never get done because it's too much effort.

For example. "The comments in this Java code need checking, but I can't be arsed. It's a long walk for a small beer"
