| This is the feature I like most about Google (the One True Search Engine), it caches all the pages it indexes.
I can just see the founders sitting around one day... (note: Joe and Bob are not their real names, at least I don't think they are)
Joe: "Hey Bob, if we got a couple million in funding, we could back up the entire Internet and have our own copy..."
Bob: "Yeah, but how would we fund it?"
Joe (after thinking for a moment): "I know, we'll make it a search engine, too!"
Bob: "And offer special searches, premade for people, like a US Government search, and a Linux search.."
Joe (excited): "And a porn search!"
Bob: "Settle down, Joe." |
