/sing, aka the "sing command" is a relatively new chat command here on E2 which can be used in the chatterbox to put your words in italics and surrounded by a randomly assorted selection of musical notes.

Activate the command thusly...

/sing Happy Birthday to you!

Use this command for fun and profit, but for goodness sake, DON'T use it to sing that one song by that terrible band that you always listen to.
