/etc/hosts.lpd

Assume you have a computer with a printer attached to it. You'd like to be able to let other computers on your network use your printer. All you need to to is add each remote host to the /etc/hosts.lpd file, one per line. lpd will take care of the rest.

Here's a sample of the /etc/hosts.lpd file on my NeXT as an example:

zuul.tdn
monolith.tdn
unit.tdn
pyramid.tdn

You get the idea.
