An IRC channel where people talk about nothing in particular. Most of the people in #root are geeks who dislike windows and favor UNIX and its variations.

#root is NOT a place where l33t h4x0rs (AKA script kiddies) hang out and trade hacked shells. If you are "l33t", go away.

The particular #root channel I am talking about is on EFnet. YMMV
