American Black Gospel music had/has a lot of this. In the development of Jazz from various influences, (including this), call and response became a major characteristic. Louis Armstrong and the King Oliver Creole Band in the 1920s really brought this out in the interplay between soloist and band. In Swing music this became a major feature. Brought almost to parody by the Glen Miller Orchestra.

It holds surprisingly well, despite the fact that you're often told to discuss similar ground and mutual interests on a first date. A country in the Middle East, next to Turkey. The oldest original Christian nation. They don't seem to get along with the Muslims in Turkey very well. They also grow facial hair quickly and thickly at a young age: I should know, I have a fair number of Armenian friends! They tend to be useful for getting alchohol when you're under 21. =)
