The chloro and fluoro carbons, when going into the air, tend to migrate towards the poles, where they will remain frozen during the course of arctic and antarctic winter, once the sun hits the poles, large clouds of frozen chemical undergo the reaction in the write-up above producing chlorine in a gaseous form. (which is actually Cl2(g). When hit with light, chlorine molecules undergo a chain reaction activated by light, which involes chlorine radicals, (an atom with an uncoupled electron in it's outer shell - ususally denoted by the element name with a suprescripted dot), radicals are VERY reactive, and are attracted to the conjugated bonds of the ozone, breaking it up.

The danger is: these compounds get released in large enough amounts at once because they are able to accumilate in its frozen form over half a year of winter

I wish I still smoked sometimes, because craving a cigarette is like craving poison, and every time you light up you know you are killing your self slowly, and you feel connected to the rest of the human race. People do that, act self destructive and masochistic. Now that I don't smoke, I sometimes feel I have lost some part of my humanity. In fact, I never even crave cigarettes any more. As in wanting to light up just for the sake of having one. That is not normal, like I don't know what an addiction feels like any more. The most addictive substance, more so than heroin, and I just stopped one day. So much for humanity there. I wish I still smoked so I would still crave something.

Moominland Midwinter (thing)

This is part of the Family Moomintroll series, written by Finland-born Tove Jansson (Who sadly died on June 27, 2001). This is also probably my favorite book of all times.

As the gather from previous books, all good MoominTroll stuff their tummies with pine needles and go to sleep for the winter, however, something unheard of has happened, little Mummin wakens and can't go back to sleep. He leaves his Moominhouse to explore this mystical, dark world of winter that no other Moomintroll has seen before. This is also the book in which we meet one of my favorite characters, Tuu-Tikky, who lives in the bath-house, and we see a lot of Little Mue and some Morra.

I am not going to get inot why this book is so special, cause to qoute Tuu-Tikky, "You have to learn it on your own".

But in my honest opinion, it is the most serious of all the Moomin books.
