Shadowrun TCG

With all this talk about the RPG, no one seems to notice the TCG (trading card game)

The Setting
It is 2058, technology has taken us where no one had ever expected. A new type of internet has been invented, the matrix, a world where deckers transpose themselves to a new reality. The human body is now far from being only organic, with cyberware man has fused flesh with metal. Plus in the 2030's magic has returned to the world, a new cycle began. Elves, dwarves, orks, trolls, goblins, mages, shamans and more are now part of reality. This new world being in turmoil, megacorporations have taken over ruling it. Corruption is everywhere and money is the only thing that counts. In this world, there are several few who must use the this to their advantage to survive, they take jobs from "johnsons" and do what no one else will. These skilled individuals are shadowrunners. These people do not exist in gouverment data banks, they are no one yet they can do anything.

Far from being what you see on Star Trek, quantum teleportation is now reality. Although humans are far from "whizzing around" like the node above says, we are actually able to teleport a beam of light from one area to another.
History
- December 1997 : Professor Anton Zeilinger, University of Innsbruck, Austrich, claims to have teleported a photon.
- 1998, Jeff Kimble, Caltech, Pasadena, claims he has teleported a beam of light and it's properties.

Basic theories
The first thing you need to comprehend before understanding quantum teleportation is the EPR effect. Theory discovered by Albert Einstein, Boris Podolsky and Nathan Rosen in the 1930's, this effect was only proven many years later buy a French team of scientists. In the 1960's John Bell showed that 2 entangled particles that were separated acted in too similar ways than described by normal statistics. This effect is an entanglement between two photons emitted by a nuclear fission.…

Ravanex Suite is a new multi-platform client/server program created by Bracast. Designed to revolutionize the internet trading community, this new software will probably be the demise of Hotline, the current client/server giant out there.
Basically the suite is two things:
1)A server program which lets anyone create his own server at home or at work.
2)A client program which lets you connect to any Ravanex server who's ip you know and on which you have an account.
Then there are all sorts of interesting features like a chat window, user window, instant messaging, account management, news forum,playlist editor, backup manager, file compression, and of course upload/download capabilities.

This new transfer aid, will be compatible with MAC OS X and all versions of Windows. So those on Linux, *BSD, BEOS, Solaris and other random operating systems will have to go without for the time being.
Those interested, can expect it's release period to be in…

B => Big
E => Eyes
S => Small
M => Mouth

One of many RPG's out there, BESM is one that follows the new anime trend rapidly growing throughout the world, but which started in Japan. The name of the game is quite representive of the classic anime character, which always has big eyes and a small mouth.
Quite simple, for a RPG, the rules to BESM are pretty basic. Using only six sided die there are few character traits. The big theme being the fact that you can play anything at all, from a mecha pilot who's saving the universe, to an unlucky school girl who's biggest interest is to go out with the football jock. Mainly you create your persona by giving it special skills which cost points, which are distributed at the beginning. (eg: 3rd arm, flying, giant mecha, charm). Once your character is created it's up the the gamemaster to decide of the quest. The game itself is actually basic and mostly focused on roleplay. Your character is what makes the game.…
