Beer-based cocktails (thing)

Beer based cocktails (or, sadly, beer-tails) tend to be disregarded by many cocktail guides, and sometimes even by drinkers. This may be because beer isn't a strong drink but isn't considered an elegant one, either. However, beer lovers and others may enjoy cocktails based on beer, and here are a few suggestions (Some of these have seperate nodes on E2):

Shandy: An obvious classic, this is a combination of some type of beer with either lemonade, a lemon based soft drink, ginger-ale or anything similar.

Snakebite: A mix of beer and cider ('bout half a pint each).

Black Velvet: A mix of stout and champagne (Ideally a 50%-50% mix).

Red Eye / Red Rooster: Ale or lager (a pint) with tomato juice (a shot). Optional tabasco and egg-yolk.

Carribean Night: Beer (a pint) mixed with coffee liqueur (a shot).

I Hate Israel (idea)

The "I hate Israel" song (catchpole's wu) gives a surprisingly good pointer to more than one reason why Arab populations, in Egypt and elsewhere, hate Israel. Some of this is explicit, and mentions the blame attributed to Israel (often correctly) about what's happening to the Palestinian people, and some other middle-eastern events. The implicit content is, however, more interesting:

I don't know what went through the mind of Ismail Khalil, the writer of this song, when he wrote praise for Egypt's president (and elsewhere, praise of the foreign minister). Keeping in mind that the Egyptian president is the head of a government that has a peace agreement with Israel, I still think he wasn't being cynical, but was simply protecting himself. Crumbly chocolate chip cookies (thing)

Crumbly chocolate-chip cookies – a recipe.

This recipe I came up with creates 10 – 20 (your choice of size) crumbly chocolate chip cookies. These can also be called "gain weight fast" cookies, not only because they're tasty, but because practically every ingredient is fattening. In addition, if the dough is made as described here it won't be too sweet, possibly creating the illusion of something less fattening.

Ingredients:
100 gr' salted butter
4 egg yolks
1 cup of flour
1 teaspoon sugar
100 gr bittersweet chocolate (chips)
Powdered sugar

Preparation:
- Let butter melt a bit. You can slice it up and give it less than half a minute in a microwave to speed up this process.
- Mix yolks and butter (the mix doesn't have to become totally smooth, just generally mixed). If you put the butter in a microwave make sure it's not too hot before mixing.

A Vart is slang for the discharge of vaginal gas. The term obviously comes from "vaginal fart".

Why do I vart?
Well I don't, seeing that I'm a guy, but varts are basically caused when the vagina expands and allows air in. When the air is forced out you get the "varting" effect. This happens to many women after sex or some types of exercise or yoga, but some women just vart occasionally without physical activity.

How can I stop varting?
Well, it's not that easy, but if you're embarrassed because of exercise varting you may consider using a tampon - this may significantly reduce the vart.

Can I vart at will?
I don't know, but I've heard of women who can. I don't know what use you can make of this superpower, however.
